I tell stories from Northeast Ohio for WCPN, Cleveland's public radio station. I've also worked in Honolulu and Evanston, Ill.

I've written about the Hawaii government's relationship with the homeless, foam food containers' impact on health and the environment, the real sources of Hawaiian lei flowers and the meaning of college media.

Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism is my alma mater. In college I served as editor-in-chief of North by Northwestern.

I've worked for the Medill Innocence Project, online newspaper Honolulu Civil Beat and Cleveland Magazine. Occasionally I tweet.

Greater Cleveland, Ohio, is my home.
